South African Embassy staff visit the Alice Leahy Trust on Tuesday 18th July to mark Nelson Mandela International Day with donations of wet wipes, t-shirts, hoodies and underwear – all bought and paid for by South African Embassy staff. The day honours the legacy of Nelson Mandela through volunteering and community service. Nelson Mandela fought for social justice for 67 years and people are called upon to devote at least 67 minutes of their time to positively impact their community and other people’s lives.
